Is It Time You Try Meditation?

The first time I tried to meditate I was sitting in my office with the lights out, as a CD on meditation I had purchased played in the background.

Not 10 minutes after closing my eyes, I had a revelation, "This is crazy!" I said to myself out loud. "I must look like an idiot."

  
Ironically, now many years later, meditation has become part of my daily routine. As Dan Harris points out in his book, it's probably made me at least 10% happier.

Meditation is designed to increase the space between thoughts -- it forces you to slow down and to live in the moment.
